Student Hubs has closed. Thank you to you all for your support, your engagement with social action, and your commitment to active citizenship.
Our legacy resources for universities, students and community organisations capture our learnings and reflections from the past 16 years to continue to support our mission of mainstreaming student social action.
Mainstreaming student social action
We supported university students across the UK to engage with social and environmental issues, make an impact in their community and become active citizens for life.

Students
- Learn about social issues, and themselves
- Connect with each other and their communities
- Do something to tackle challenges

Universities
- Collaborate to enable wider strategic goals
- Generate added value to student engagement
- Deliver upon civic and social responsibility

Communities
- Gain new perspectives, including added expertise and energy
- Benefit from added capacity for new and existing work
- Achieve community cohesion, with an improved connection to the university
