Structured Volunteering
Structured volunteering gets you out in the local area connecting with young people, and other members of the local community.
- Schools Plus is our flagship programme that empowers University of Bristol students like you to offer academic support in a wide range of subjects to pupils across the city. Ultimately, tackling educational inequality.
- Inspire, Debate, Change is a series of civil education workshops led by university students for young people to raise awareness and empower active citizenship.
- LinkAges includes inter-generational activities across the city. From coffee mornings to tech and talks to a pen pal scheme.
Skilled placements
Skilled placements train and empower student consultants to make change whilst developing key skills.
- The Social Innovation Programme empowers teams of students to work on real world challenge briefs set by local community partners. Researching and presenting their solutions across the eight week programme.
- Climate Action Bristol supports teams of students to work with a local business to create and implement a climate action plan, making sustainable changes for the city.
